Record a screen, window or browser tab where screen capture is supported. Add microphone narration and preview the recording before downloading.
Ready.
How to use
Choose whether to include the microphone, start recording, and select what to share in the browser dialog. If offered, enable shared audio there. Pause, resume, stop and download.
Limits and compatibility
Screen capture and shared audio vary by browser and operating system; many mobile browsers do not offer them. The recording uses a supported WebM or MP4 format. Memory limits affect long recordings.
The tool processes selected files in this browser. Download the result before closing the tab.
Quick answers
On a supporting browser, start recording and choose a screen, window or tab in the browser dialog. Stop, preview and download the result. Screen sharing, shared audio and recording formats depend on the browser and operating system.
Questions and troubleshooting
Why is the screen recording missing audio?
Screen audio is included only if the chosen sharing source provides it and you enable the offered audio option. Microphone narration is a separate permission. Record a short clip first; selecting a window does not guarantee its sound is captured.
Can I record on any phone or browser?
No. Many mobile browsers lack the required screen-capture API. Use a browser with screen-sharing support or your device’s built-in screen recorder. If the sharing dialog is cancelled, start again to choose a source.
What we checked
Pause, resume and WebM output passed with a synthetic canvas capture stream. Real screen-sharing permissions, physical devices and system-audio capture were not tested. Checked October 1, 2026 in Chromium.
