Calculate a chosen tip and divide the rounded bill total exactly among a whole number of people. A remainder count shows who adds one smallest currency unit, so the shares sum to the total.
Use a decimal point or comma; do not use thousands separators. Arabic digits and ٫ are accepted. Currency selection formats amounts and does not convert exchange rates.

What percentage should I use?
The presets are convenient inputs, not regional etiquette advice. Local customs, service charges and your choice determine the percentage. The tool applies the percentage to exactly the bill you enter; it does not separately extract tax or service charges. Currency selection does not convert values.

Checked: 100 + 15% = 115; split among 3 gives 38.33 each and one person adds 0.01. Zero bills, comma/Arabic decimals, JPY, invalid people/negative bill, retry and reset were checked.
