Wipro and IBM Join Forces in Groundbreaking Partnership to Advance Enterprise AI Innovation

Wipro has just launched a powerful tool to speed up the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in businesses. They’ve teamed up with IBM, a leader in AI innovation, to create the Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform. This platform uses IBM’s watsonx AI and data platform, combining Wipro’s industry know-how with IBM’s cutting-edge AI technology.

The partnership aims to develop solutions that make it easier for companies to use strong and dependable AI in their operations. The Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform includes various parts of the IBM watsonx suite, like watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, watsonx.governance, and AI assistants.

It provides a complete set of tools, large language models, efficient processes, and strong governance to lay the groundwork for future industry-specific analytic solutions.

According to Jo Debecker, Managing Partner & Global Head of Wipro FullStride Cloud, the collaboration with IBM combines Wipro’s cloud, AI, and industry expertise with IBM’s AI innovation capabilities.

An essential part of this teamwork is the creation of the IBM TechHub@Wipro, a central tech hub supporting joint client efforts. It brings together experts, engineers, assets, and processes to drive and support AI initiatives.

The Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform doesn’t just offer infrastructure and software for AI workloads; it enhances automation and efficiency in businesses. It’s designed to work in specific industries like banking, retail, health, energy, and manufacturing, providing tailored solutions for various needs.

Nagendra Bandaru, Managing Partner and President of Wipro Enterprise Futuring, highlighted the platform’s flexibility. He mentioned that it allows clients to easily integrate and standardize multiple data sources, enhancing AI-enabled transformation across business functions.

The collaboration doesn’t stop at technology; it includes training for Wipro associates in IBM hybrid cloud, AI, and data analytics. This ensures that Wipro’s team stays at the forefront of developing joint solutions and pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve in the business world.
